Enabling Web Filtering blocks HTTPS traffic for one system

Not sure what is happening, but whenever I enable Web Filtering all HTTPS traffic is blocked on only one system. When i use Policy Helpdesk to verify something like https://google.com it says it is allowed but the affected system can't access it and the Sophos Endpoint client displays a notification saying "Some sites have been block by your companies web filtering policy". I am using the default policy and as far as I can see from the log, https://google.com is not being blocked.

  • This sounds like it might be an endpoint web control issue and not a web proxy issue.  You can try asking in that forum.

You might be able to do some confirmation but enabling/disabling the Sophos Services in Windows to temp turn off endpoint.

You may want to check that the endpoint in receiving updates and sending logs to the UTM.  Try blocking a specific site, wait a few minutes for a sync and then visit.  If the endpoint isn't blocking then you have more of a syncing problem.
