Hi folks, I have implemented the memory version. Memory usage has increased from 26% to 35%. Response is way quicker, huge improvement.
What happens when an up2date package comes through eg 8.101.
In another thread was threatening to rebuild this ASG when v8.100 was released, now except for problems the DHCP servers I don't appear to have any performance problems at the moment. Even the Astaro site respond much faster.
Just quick question, how do I watch the downloading process? cause I waited for ever yesterday for the download but nothing was downloaded and all the sites were uncategorized!!
Hi, there would be two things 1/. during the download your ASG dashboard would have displayed the increase in usage, your daily reports would show a peak around the time you made the change. 2/. depending on which model you chose, but either way you should see a memory usage increase.
To me it sounds like you might have missed a step in the process.
@Ian M, this is what I did enable SSH for both loginuser && root in the Management > System Settings > Shell Access 2) ssh to ASG and login with loginuser 3) su root 4) cc set http sc_local_db disk 5) /var/mdw/scripts/httpproxy restart

Well the size is 0 and it is not changing, that is why I asked if there is a way to see if there are errors in the downloading process
