Cannot Login to Gateway Manager

Using VM 2.201 I cannot log into the gateway manager.  Either no response or error message "cannot connect to backend process".  Same admin account has no problem in accessing Webadmin.

    Yep, same errors I get... I have to restart the ACC Daemon on the ACC to get it moving again.

    We finally found the issue.

    This issue should only arise with ASG V8 clients, and it will be fixed with
    the upcoming ASG 8.102 release.

    Until then, please confirm that you sometimes have connection losses between
    the ASGs and ACCs. These connection losses are not a problem in general (or at
    least they should not be), but if the ASG loses the connection to the ACC very
    often, this problem occurs.

    ASG V8.102 is was a bugfix release, which contained only a few (urgent) fixes.
    All Fixes that were previously scheduled for 8.102 were moved to 8.103. This
    fix is also tagged for ASG V8.103, which should follow soon.

    Btw: There will be a fix for this in the ACC in the upcomming ACC 2.202
    release (should be this week). The issue was caused by the ASG, but the ACC
    did not expect such behaviour. It now does, although it should not occur
    anymore after ASG 8.103, but better to be save. So either update your ASGs, or
    update your ACC, or, preferably, both :-)

    Thank you for clarifying.  Do you foresee any issues with those of us who have had some of these patch RPM installs done recently to fix various issues being unable to install 2.202 properly?  I know sometimes in the past, on the Astaro platform, that's been an issue.

    QA ist testing the up2date for ACC 2.202 right now. I will check with them and ask them to try an update from a patched/changed version.

    Just for clarification; the patch I'm worried about in this case is the one Hakan installed on my ACC to fix the inital "all gateways down" issue... I believe it's the same patch that has been passed around publicly on this forum in the past month or two.

    The upcomming ACC 2.202 bugfix release should install cleanly on machines
    which have a manually installed ACC. This concerns all those machines that
    either downloaded the rpm or who had the rpm installed by us.

    The 2.202 release has passed QA and is now in the final review state. QA
    explicitly checked if the update does install on patched ACCs.
