short tutorial

Hi,

I downloaded the virtual app from astaro acc.
than i added the ip from the acc on my firefall ( management > central management )

and than?

in the live log there are these erros:

the solution to this erros is to add on the acc (management > gateway manager > device security)

live log form the asg:

and after that, what i have to do, that i see the devices im my acc?

    Hi,

    please understand that ACC is split into two GUI parts:

    [LIST=1]
    • WebAdmin (system administrative GUI)
    • Gateway Manager (device management GUI)
    [/LIST]
    Hence, you need to use "WebAdmin" to initially configure access to the Gateway Manager. This encompasses both user access as well as device access.

    You already configured the device relevant part of the setup, but probably skipped the user part.

    Did you finish the "Gateway Manager access configuration"? Please check your settings within "Management >> Gateway Manager >> Access Control". At a minimum, you need to put one user/group into the "Allowed Admins" box (e.g. SuperAdmins) and one network into the "Allowed Networks" (e.g. Any) box. After applying your changes, the Gateway Manager GUI becomes accessable. 

     It will be reachable via https://IP-or-DNS-of-your-installation:4422 - if you did not change any port settings. You can login with any user/group specified in the previously configured "Allowed Admins" box. You will then have unrestricted access to all devices within ACC. 

    (You can have more sophisticated/restricted setups should you require to use ACC in a multi-client environment where you provide services to your customers.)

    Please also check the online documentation or manual for the ACC Gateway Manager. You can download the manual for the Gateway Manager from within your ACC WebAdmin. It is located within the menu Support >> Manual. Please select "Gateway Manager - English".
