RED connection not stable.

Trialing a RED device.

I finally got the device up in full tunnel mode.
Internet working, and could see our internal network etc.

However, this morning it was flashing dialog that it could not get a DHCP address.
(System and internet flashing, tunnel solid).

Rebooting the RED didn't help same issue.

Setup is with a Billion 7404VGO ADSL modem.  (Runs DHCP)

  • Yes.  After discussion with support they suggested I check the power supply.  Apparently some with too low maximum wattage were supplied with early units.

I switched the power supply from the 1A unit supplied to a 1.2A supply I had and the problem has now gone.

I have submitted an RMA ticket for the power supply.
Very frustrating!  At least resolved.  (Typing this using the RED link).
