Astaro RED and Beta8

Hi there

has someone a Astaro RED with the now available V8 Beta (7.951 ) runnig?
I can enter the Serial and the Device is connected to the Box but i don't see the RED as object like Ethernet Device,...

When you performed the configuration in WebAdmin, did you have Quick remote network setup checked? If not, you will need to manually configure the new interface.

I'm assuming that by "Box", you mean your ASG.

V8 has a beta feature set exposed, but doesn't have the quick setup option that V7 does. As Scott said you will need to manually create the interface for RED (RED will be available from the HW pulldown when creating the interface), and add masquerading and packet filter rules, and set up a DHCP server if you want the RED clients to get DHCP.

RED does work well with V8, but it takes a few more steps to configure in the latest releases.

it works now. I didn't try to select the Hardware ;-)
