PLEX indirect connection in local network

The first thing to do is to confirm that 'Bypass content scanning for streaming content' is selected on the 'Misc' tab.  If that doesn't help, you may need to put your TV in the Transparent Mode Skiplist.  Any luck?

All of the protections are turned off in my UTM.

Are you sure?  See #1 in Rulz (last updated 2019-04-17).

I've turned back on web filtering and tried what you've wrote me but still is indirect mode

If you're on the same Ethernet segment with the server, Svigelj, my impression is that you shouldn't be having this problem.  Which devices are where in relation to the UTM?

I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 with Plex server on it.

I use my laptop plex media player client and the problem is same as on the tv where the connection is indirect, when i use the web player in the browser everything is fine.

We still don't know what your network topology is, Svigelj.

My modem connects to my sophos router and the sophos connect to the internet via PPPOE the utm is connected to a cisco 2960S switch and the end devices connect to this switch.

I added a NAT rule for plex and an automatic firewall rule.
