Error on setting fixed link speed

On WebAdmin GUI of Sophos UTM Appliance, I cannot set the link speed to fixed to 10000baseT/Full. The 2 other available link speeds, I am able to set.

But on this an error in the GUI is showing. Please see screenshot. Maybe someone had this already and knows what to do. Thanks.

What are the configured interface type and hardware? I tried to replicate this in my LAB firewall, but it works. I've tested this on interface type "Ethernet."

thanks for your quick answer. This is an ethernet port on this Flexi Port module in an SG310.

[A2] Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller X710 for 10GbE SFP+

Supported link modes: 1000baseT/Full,1000baseKX/Full,10000baseT/Full

This error message sounds to me more like a problem with the WebAdmin GUI :) Actually I want to use Auto negotiation and they should agree on 10Gb, but they agree on 1Gb. And I just wanted to try to set it fixed. When I am on site again, I will try another port with auto negotiation.

Thank you for the update.

Check confd-debug logs while you try to save the change; the logs probably indicate what is causing this issue.

Hi H_Patel,

thanks for the hint with the confd-debug logs. I am happy about such information as I am a beginner in configuring this Sophos UTM Appliance.

I do not really see in the logs why it is not working, only that it is not working and same error message.

I also recognized that it is on another hardware which is speed 10000 capable but same error. So on every interface setting 10000 is not possible.
