Disable Uplink Balancing using CLI

Hi all,

Our network using 2 ISP, we want to distinguish the load manually, so we disable the uplink balancing and configure multipath rule and policy route. But as we monitored the traffic between 2 ISP it seems keep enforce the uplink balancing behind the scenes,,,,

Is there any way to confirm that uplink balancing is not enforced and steps to disable uplink balancing via command line?

Regards,

Febri

  • Hi Febri,

I think You need the uplink balancing function for the multipath rules to work.

Please check the multipath rules twice to ensure that the packets You see on the wrong interfaces is matched by the correct multipath rules.

In most cases the connections originated by the utm itself are not covered by the rule.

If You are working with policy routing and masquerading is activated on the interface, ensure that there is a corresponding source nat rule for the re-routed packets.

    Good Luck!
