Sending outgoing mails through specified interface.

Hi,

I have Exchange 2013 server and outgoing mails sending through UTM 9 mail relay, with multiple WANs.

How I can configure Sophos to send outgoing mails ONLY through specified interface?

Thanks,

Dima

  • i use a HA-Cluster sophos SG310 at work with 4 internet-lines attached to it.

i send e-mail only with one line cause of mx-records / anti-spam solutiions.

i use the described multipath-rule to send my mails over the specific interface and it works without any problems.

rule have to look like this:

    source: any

service: email_Messaging (default service-group by sophos)

    destination: any

    ltf. persistence: by interface

    BInd Interface: the_interface_you_will_use_for_mail

    Advanced: set skip rule......

save it then get it active...

Work: 2 SG430 Cluster / many other models like SG105/SG115/SG135/SG135w/...

  • This is my config:

    and its not working.........

Its worked before I'am starting to send mails through Sophos SMTP relay

  • change the source to any and test it again please. think if you use the sophos as outgoing relay it sends with its own adresses..
