Prevent outbound Audio Attachments (MIME)

Hi All,

We have an internal exchange 2013 server and a Sophos SG310 cluster (9.354-4)

We are trying to prevent outbound emailing of call recordings.

I tried the Antivirus/MIME type filter with Audio selected, but this only seemed to affect inbound emails.

I suspect I must need to use Data Protection/Custom Rules?

If so can someone please provide an example custom expression

Hi,

You can navigate through Email Protection> SMTP > Malware > Mime type filter. here you can configure UTM to block or quarantine the MIME file extensions. If that is configured please post configuration screenshots.
