Outgoing OOO Messages result in reproducable Scanner Crash

Hi Everyone,

i posted this question last week in the german user forum but didn´t get any answer on it so i retry it here.

We use an Exchange 2013 which sends OOO Messages through the UTM SMTP Proxy. In the Log File there is an entry "Scanner crash - moving to error queue" for each of these OOO Messages and i can find the messages with status error in the MailManager Mail Spool.

It takes round about 10-15 Minutes between sending the Message and the error entry in the log file. May it be possible that the scanner runs on a predefined Timeout?

Current used Firmware is 9.310-11. If anybody needs more Information please ask.

If you have a paid license, I would suggest that you open up a case with Sophos support. Please let us know the results.

What happens if you turn off BATV? If that works, then enable BATV again and make an Exception for BATV for mails coming from your Exchange server.

Hi,

thanks for your answers.

We didn´t found the solution but a kind of Workaround. we deleted the whole OOO Message in Exchange and made a new one.

Since then it works without any problem.
