Problems using host based smtp relay

Good morning everybody

We have troubles using the host based smtp relay on our ASG220 v9.207-19.

If i use 4 separated host entries it works fine, but using a range, it doesn't.

Example:

Host 1: 192.168.1.100
Host 2: 192.168.1.101
Host 3: 192.168.1.102
Host 4: 192.168.1.103

>Works.

Host Range 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.103
> Doesn't work.

Bug or Feature? Not supported?

Thanks for any assistance.

  • Hi, LK, and welcome to the User BB!

Why do you want to relay scanmails off the SMTP Proxy instead of simply allowing the traffic with a firewall rule?  Do you have a mail server somewhere that can fulfill the requirement for the printers?
