Problems using host based smtp relay

Good morning everybody

We have troubles using the host based smtp relay on our ASG220 v9.207-19.

If i use 4 separated host entries it works fine, but using a range, it doesn't.

Example:

Host 1: 192.168.1.100
Host 2: 192.168.1.101
Host 3: 192.168.1.102
Host 4: 192.168.1.103

>Works.

Host Range 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.103
> Doesn't work.

Bug or Feature? Not supported?

Thanks for any assistance.

  • Not Supported.  If you want random distribution to four servers, add each one separately.  If you want to use the other three servers as backup for the first, use an Availability Group as Scott says.
