Reset Email Encryption System - Nothing Happens

Because PGP signing for outbound mail is not working, and PGP encrypted outgoing mails cannot be decrypted with Thunderbird on a test mail-account on external domain, i would like to reset the Encryption System. But when i click on the Button "Reset Email Encryption System" and comfirm it with "OK" - nothing happens. CA und Users will not be deleted. Has someone successfully setup Email-Encryption with PGP?

Todays Update from 9.200 to 9.201 changed nothing.

  • Hi, and welcome to the User BB!

I haven't done it on 9.2, but have done so successfully in earlier versions.

Thunderbird was known in the past to handle PGP in a non-standard fashion, thus making it incompatible with the UTM.  If you can configure Thunderbird to NOT do in-line PGP, it might work.

I just did a Reset as a test, and it worked as designed on 9.111-7.

    Cheers - Bob
