My UTM 9 been working fine as smtp proxy (receive email directly from outside world then forward to an internal postfix server for local delivery) for months until 2-3 days, last email received was 3/28 to be exact, ago it stops forwarding emails with these 2 messages
remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host.
remote_smtp defer (113): no route to host
1. I could ping the world and look up ns record from UTM 9
2. I could telnet to internal postfix port 25 and issue HELO cmd.
I've found a post suggesting that exim db is corrupted and tried to removed the retry, lock files, etc. and restart mdw. I even try reboot the server, same errors show up again.
Does anyone know why UTM 9 certainly stops forwarding emails with the above 2 errors? How could I fix it?
