Active/Active clustering with free license

Hi all,

Couldn't find the information. Can one setup an Active/Active cluster with free home based licenses?

Thanks,
Cheers,

  • Hi Mozak,

The configuration part would be similar as related with the harward devices, I haven't seen HA Active/ Active requirement with Home UTM(s) version before. As stated, no strings attached; you get a fully equipped license version so you can deploy HA. Make sure to go through the prerequisites before deployment as it might require similar hardware for both devices and equal number of ports.

    Thanks

  • Hey sachingurung,

Thanks a lot for your answer. Of course home based UTM is not really the place for HA. Although this is purely for my knowledge and i've been reading about IPS offloading while in Active/Active HA operation mode. Which i've intended to try/verify =)

Really like the UTM product! Its a hammer of a Security OS!
