Huawei E3372 LTE Modem doesnt connect

Hi all,

I had a new USB modem stick after my old one (vodafone K5005) died.

 

Now I cant get the new stick Huawei E3372 to work. It does not connect, however the parameters (User, pass, PIN, APN etc) are definitely correct and working on a laptop under windows.
Under Interfaces it is shown  as hardware "wwan2 huawei - E3372", "3G/UMTS" is selected and network "LTE".

The firmware of stick is 21.xxx which indicates its not a Hilink-Modem.

The version of UTM9 im using is 9.414-2

It seems UTM is not able to communicate with the stick for some reason, maybe someone has an idea?

    Update: Installed Version 9.501-5 of UTM.

    still the same behaviour. I hoped it would be fixed becuase in changlog I found this:

    Fix [NUTM-7350]: [Access & Identity] [RED] USB stick E3372 does not work with RED 15

     

    But its still the same as above.

    OK I got a little further. After updating firmware on the stick I get this first connection try, for some reason it does not finish properly.

    Subsequent tries to set that connection active result in the logs shown in original post.

    Did you ever get this model working?

    No, unfortunately not.

    I am trying from time to time after a firmware upgrade, but so far everything has gotten worse.

    The E3372 is not even recognized with 9.503 anymore.
