Why cant my Sophos UTM 9.411-3 newly installed at a HOME, to protect them, UPDATE?? 9.411-3 is before WannaCry, so this it just wrong!

Why cant my Sophos UTM 9.411-3 newly installed at a HOME, to protect them, UPDATE?? 9.411-3 is before WannaCry, so this it just wrong! 
 
 The support, on Sohpos, just ignores queries, or lies about login issues. So ...?

 As another contributor already stated, the protection for the UTM from WannCry and other vulnerabilities is issued through pattern updates. Pattern updates happen regardless of whether or not you are on the latest version. As long as you have it set the UTM to automatically update at Management > Up2Date and you have IPS enabled then everything is protected. We do recommend you always update to the latest version for bug fixes and new features, but the actual threat is protected against in your version.  In addition to having protection on the firewall, it is helpful but make sure you have client side AV Protection as well.
