Unable to install on Mitac E230

Hi,

I bought a Mitac E230 (http://client.mitac.com/products-Embedded-Box-PC-PlutoE230.html) with the express reason of installing UTM, I have build a number of USB installers and have gone so far as to buy a DVD rom (I know) to try but it won't pick up the OS as bootable in the BIOS. I have installed Linux Mint to make sure there wasn't an issue and that installed without an issue.

Is there something specific I have missed, or need to change in the BIOS?

Any help or guidance very gratefully received. Thank you in advance.

Bob

  • So I have tried a SUSE install, no problem using the same USB stick and the same iso installer and still the USG installer won't even be recognised as a bootable device, any ideas?  Any help or guidance would be really great as I am now officially stuck.

    Thanks
