Inconsistent web-filtering action since Sophos UTM update 9.410-6 any fix?

Connections are disconnected even if there is no violation. Configured to allow all sites but still have the same outcome. We had to disable the web filtering feature so our users can connect to the internet.

Hi Dan,

Upload the backup from previous firmware and monitor if the problem exists. If that is not helping, show us lines from the http.log for the source system that gets denied. Curious to try this, what happens when you configure the AV engine in the UTM to use single scan as AVIRA?

Hi sachingurung,

Yes, we did that. Majority of our email traffic is through web browsers but we still applied the fix suggested on the main UTM firmware update thread. Do you mean http.log in the UTM?

Yes, the Web Filtering log in the UTM.

What fix did you apply? Did you try restoring the configuration backup made before the Up2Date was applied?

Yes, the Web Filtering log in the UTM. - it had 0 bytes. Maybe since we deactivated the service?

Did you try restoring the configuration backup made before the Up2Date was applied?- Yes Bob.

What fix did you apply? -We had our supplier rollback the firmware.Everything si running smoothly now..

Hi,

we had similar problems with 9.410. Rollback to 9.409 helps but we run again into a bug within Sandstorm Utility.

After applying 9.411 which was hot released by Sophos on 02/10/ everything is fine.
