9.409-9 up2date patch fails

Just a heads up for anyone working remotely...

We had the latest up2date patch scheduled overnight. Came in this morning and UTM was unresponsive

Had to reimage UTM with latest ISO from USB and reload config.

all working now

I read your post re: the

    9.409-9 up2date patch fails

I deployed 9.409-9 to 15 customers UTMs, and they all updated just fine, show 9.409-9, but 6 out of 15 won't update definitions anymore.

So you're not nuts, something is wrong somewhere,  I didn't mess with figuring out exactly what, but rebooting multiple times didn't help,

    restoring the backup didn't help,

I imaged 9.408 back on, and restored the 9.408 backup from 1 day ago just before i updated to 9.409-9 and they all came up and acted as if

    nothing was ever wrong.

I learned long ago, to backup just before you update the firmware, and have an image iso downloaded ready to go.

and don't make any changes after updating the firmware unless absolutely neccessary.

    I hope that helps

This is the first time in a few years i've had issues with firmware from Sophos,

    good luck to everyone.
