After Update to 9.408-4 interface is missing

hi @all, 
 after updating my Sophos UTM virtual appliance to the latest version one of my NICs is missing. There we're no changes on the vm settings, but after rebootinng the vm, the interface eth4 is missing, in the hardware overview I can see the interfaces eth0 - eth3 and eth5 - eth6. Also since the update I'm not allowed to ping any system in another private network (Routing from eth1 to eth2). 
 
 Does anyone know what happened and how to fix this? I've tried removing the problematic NIC, but without success.

 Due to fixing the /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules I didn't tried your solution.
