HA active-passive state UNLINKED

I've a active-passive HA cluster with two nodes.

Firmware: 9.403-4

Both nodes has the state UNLINKED in the webadmin on the default ETH3 port, but on the ethernet ports and the switchports the LINK LED is on.

Reboot of both nodes doesn't resolve the problem.

What can I do?

Thanks for the help.

nice regards

Christian

  • Christian,

I had the same issue, but that was because I had the HA going through a switch. It seems that the UTM gets confused and the better option is to bypass going through a switch and instead use a crossover cable to connect the two devices. Once I did this, all of my sync issues between my HA cluster vanished. Give that a try and see if it works for you.

  • Hello guys, thanks for your informations. My two UTMs are in different buildings beacuse is for a disaster Situation.

HA was working perfectly in the past, why now not.

Yesterday I had both UTMs updated to the last Firmware and create the HA again.

Both UTMs see the other side and syncing but when the sync process is finished the Status is UNLINKED again.
