Up2date rollback proceedure

Hi

We have a two SG330s in HA. We've been bitten a few times now with firmware releases that dont place nicely and cause disruption. Can someone suggest the best method of performing a rollback when issues are encountered?

I note that there is an option to 'Keep node(s) reserved during Up2Date. Which from reading only applies to one node during up2date. If we wanted to use that as the rollback method what additional steps would need to be done to complete the rollback and revert to the previous firmware for the HA nodes?

Appreciate any input

  • Hi,

To roll back from a firmware version, the only procedure is to re-image UTM, it was a feature request which is completed as a part of XG Firewall.

    Thanks

This doesn't really explain how to leverage a UTM in HA or the process which is what I'm chasing.

Likewise when support provide a RPM in that how do I roll back should the result be worse than the original issue.
