unable to configure WAN on a new build?

I recently built firewall and installed the most recent version or UTM 9 (home license) . I used Supermicro X10SLM+-LN4F motherboard with built in four GB Ethernet ports (Intel 210 , I believe). I am using Intel Xeon E3 1245 CPU.  ( I had the components from previous server built). Everything loads fine , but  during the initial setup wizard , I cant select any interface to add the WAN settings. On the interface drop down menu , I get no option at all. If I check the option to add internet connection later and go to my Dashboard, it does show all four Eth options ( LAN being active  and other 3 unused) . On Dashboard if I select the second Eth port and add my external static IP address and gateway info , it gives me an error that I cant have 2 gateways ( I guess it is not seeing it as a WAN connection). There is no option in dashboard to setup WAN connection? What I am doing wrong?
I connected Ethernet cable from cox modem to the second Eth port , and LAN cable from my router (LAN port) to the 1st ETH port on my UTM that I built.

  • OK Figured out.

Initially I had used following ISO: asg-9.401-11.1

Then I tried asg-9.355-1.1 versio and I was able to see all four Eth ports in drop down menu and was able to configure WAN settings . I guess the most recent version has some issues with my motherboard or intel 210  chipset?

  • Thank you. I can confirm the exact same symptoms when installing it in a VM hosted on ESXi 6.0 host.

I tried with asg-9.400-9.1 & asg-9.402-7.1 and and the interface was not available when I had to select the Uplink interface. They were visible in the initial setup before the Setup Wizard and when selecting "Setup Internet connection later", they were also visible later when clicking on new interface.

Using the same VM but with version asg-9.355-1.1 resolved the issue...
