Hello everybody,
we use two SG 450 units in a Hot-Standby Active-passive configuration.
A few days ago, one of the SSDs in the Slave unit gave out.
Instead of Sophos sending us a replacement SSD, we instead received a completely new SG 450 unit.
Strangely, the SG 450 unit was not installed with the firmware for UTM appliances but was instead shipped with the UTM Software distribution.
Trying to log into the Web admin of the new unit and finishing the set up wizard consequently lead to a license error when we tried to upload our
SG 450 license, stating that our license was incompatible with the UTM software distribution.
I downloaded the correct ISO file from Sophos, the file name is ssi-9.715-4.1.iso and "burned" the image to a 16 GB USB stick using Rufus.
Rebooted the SG 450 appliance and started the installer.
The installer however is stuck in the following screen:
I can switch to other TTYs using the Alt-F2,F3,F4 etc. keys so it does not seem to hang.
There is absolutely no progress however and there hasn't been for 30 minutes now.
Any guys what might be the problem? Am I perhaps using the wrong ISO file?
