Disable HA/shutdown slave making bringing LAG down on master

Hi Team,

I have 2 Sophos UTM 330 in live master slave mode. When ever I disable HA / or shutting slave my routing table is getting vanished. I mean the lag stop working. I then toggle interfaces. it is becoming normal again. May I know why it is happening. I observed this scenario in many cases across DCs

  • Do you build one LAG per device?

If you use 2 ports from master, this should be one LAG and the two ports from the slave should be a different LAG group.

I got problems connecting Master and Slave into same LAG.

  • hi Yes, one lag per device. It has two interfaces eth10,11. We tagged two vlans . One for internal and one for external. I see interfaces were green in GUI but their IPs are not shown on ifconfig. I disabled and enabled both interfaces on GUI. Slowly routing started building
