UTM 9 updates

I need a Help, i have two SOPHOS UTM 9, that are running with firmware version 9.710-1 and connected via IP sec tunnel, i want to start a update on two firewalls but i have a worries if i lose a connection between firewalls because one of them is far from me, so please what is the best steps to do before staring updates. thank you

Hi Mustapha,

I have a similar configuration which I've updated many times without issues. I am confident that my configuration is good and that it all comes up cleanly after a reboot. I would advise testing this if you're not confident in your config.

Step 1: upload the new firmware to both firewalls.

Step 2: SCHEDULE (rather than immediately installing) the update on both firewalls.

I normally schedule my updates to take place overnight & at the same time on both firewalls. The IPsec tunnel is down only during the reboot.
