UTM v9 notification does not work after upgrade isp from comcast to at&t

my UTM v9 notification was working fine, my email is gmail.

Yesterday, I upgrade my internet service from comcast to at&t gbit fiber, then I connected UTM v9 to the new service, everything seems working fine, except I have no more email notification from UTM. Anybody has idea what should I check on that? many thanks.

  • The first thing I would check would be the credentials you are using along with the port for sending the notifications.

    But, if I connect comcast back, notification will work again. I was not understand why my credentials and ports would impact notification if I am just switching isp 

  • Which EMAIL-sender / IP do you use? Do you use a smtp-smarthost?

    Are there exceptions at the receiving site? (or is there an SPF entry for sender-domain?)

  • Good catch, Ting.  I was going to ask if this was a home-use situation because AT&T blocks some ports on residential connections.
