TAP Windows Adapter not showing after update

Hello all!

Recently we have updated our systems from Windows 1809 to 1909 and after the update we have noticed that some computers do not have the TAP Adapter available.
This results in the fact that some can not work with their SSL anymore.

Has anybody ever had this issue, and is it possible to fix without reinstalling the SSL?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hoi Marvin and welcome to the UTM Community!

Apropos, I don't understand what 1809 and 1909 are in your initial post.  Is this possibly a question about XG instead of UTM?

Does re-installing the SSL VPN on one of those fix the problem?

    Cheers - Bob

  • Dear

In this question I was talking about the Windows version 1809 that has been updated to 1909.
Reinstalling the SSL VPN does fix the problem, but there are multiple systems showing this problem.

Before actually continuing to update the systems, I wanted to know if there was a solution to this problem.
Currently 8 out of the 10 systems that have been updated has shown this problem, and we need to update 43 more systems.
If it ends up that 45 of the 53 systems show this problem, reinstalling the SSL VPN per user is going to take us alot of work.

    Thanks in advance.
