UTM 9.700-5 download

Is UTM 9.700-5 available for download? Mine crashed. I started rebuilding from:

  • asg-9.605-1.1.iso,
  • adding license,
  • upgrade to UTM 9.700-5 
  • restoring from backup 

doesn' t work. The machine keeps hanging in the restoring of the backup and never comes back up again.

So if i could download a UTM 9.700-5  image i can restore the backup during initial isetup.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated.

    ISO for UTM 9.700-5 is not yet available. You can always check it here Sophos UTM Downloads. The latest available ISO is 9.605 and you can download the next update u2d-sys-9.605001-700005.tgz.gpg from this up2date server to reach 9.700-5.

    Further, can you make sure that you keep the Interfaces the same as available in your backup? Please configure as many interfaces as available in your backup config and also make sure that your device's pattern updates are latest, allow UTM to do the pattern updates before restoring the backup. Try to restore the backup after doing this. It should work.

    It's the same hardware, all the interfaces are exactly as they were withe the working UTM instance.

    Again followed the procedure as you as described, it's just not working. I have no idea why, am going to give up on UTM...
