[9.100] High Bandwidth Usage

What do your daily executive reports look like? Who is the top user and to which domain? PS3 won't download that much data everyday and astaro updates are not that large unless it got stuck in some loop of downloading the same update.

Here is the executive report for the week of 4/29, I copied the Top 10 Applications, since it seems to have the info we are looking for.

I have set all updates to manual for now.

Any ideas why Sophos Contest Filter Framework Server will be using 252.9GB of my bandwidth in a week time?

is that an issue?  The local content server really reduces the access times to the content db....is this really ever going to be a supported option via webadmin?

I hope so, the access time is pretty bad on my end otherwise...

Sorry, I should have been more descriptive when I submitted this bug 
https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/80/t/65003 . If you left the database in memory, it kept on retrying to load it over and over in an endless loop. This is one of the main reasons not to run beta on production / everyday use systems  since the beta may have unforeseen consequences like in your case [:$]

This is home use, so far my 250gb cap is a soft cap..  no disconnects, slowdown or extra charges...

I can't make a statement about any plans on that one. But as you can see, there are good reasons for why it's unsupported. But: For some customers with high amount of web usage, our support enables the feature and for that customer it's now "supported" [:D]

But rest assured we're trying to improve that whole content filtering procedure & technologies in the next versions to come.
