[9.091][BUG] Unable to connect to Webadmin after Patch 9.091

Hi All
after 9.091 Patch I'm unable to login to Webadmin.
UTM looks to be passing packets as normal.
SUM 4 is able to see it, and I did a scheduled reboot (hoping I could login after reboot).

I'm using Firefox 20 and getting "The connection was reset" and it just times out and the same with IE 9.

I'm getting
[INFO-107] WebAdmin webserver not running - restarted
approximately every hour

Thoughts?

I have SSH access.

Anything in the packetfilter or IPS logs?

No nothing odd in the logs blocking Local Network.
All pointing to Web Server not starting.

Sounds like your upgrade didn't go according to plan. Maybe a full install might help?

Strange just rebuilt a new 9.1 virtual and did a system restore through USB stick and have same problem with webmin not starting.
I'm just starting over again fresh, paying alot more attenten to details.

Still getting webmin not starting with a fresh install of 9.1 and importing of various backups.
A Fresh install with out import seems fine.
It will be a couple of days before I can get back to this.

Are you using Hyper V VM? It can be the same issue as in this thread: https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/80/t/65122

Hi again Mark,

Can you please send me the backup, or attach it to the thread?
Can you also provide confd.log/confd-debug.log and mdw.log. Did you notice any errors in packet filter rules/iptables in mdw?

Having the same problem as OP. Using both FF 20.0.1 and IE 10. Getting Service Unavailable.

Correction - after a fresh install and restore from backup, I was able to get into the webadmin and play around with the settings. A few hours later attempting to get back to the webadmin, that's when I get the Service Unavailable.

I installed 9.092 from new. Went through web gui and Imported Backup, All ok. Until first reboot some 12 Hrs later (or so). Upto reboot all functioned fine.
After Reboot, at console Webmin failed. No Webmin access as before.
I've downloaded all the logs in /var/log as loginuser and I can't seem to see anything out of the ordinary.

Me had the same problem after upgrading to ASG 8.309
After below command , able to log in again

/etc/init.d/httpd restart
