A phone is receiving ip address of the firewall when it connects to the network

Good day

We have an XG 35 ON VERSION 20.0.1

There is a phone that is connecting to the network.. and when it connects the network it is getting 192.168.10.1 which is the ip addresss of the firewall ..

Our DHCP is the firewall , and the DHCP pool is starting from 192.168.10.16 - 192.168.10.250

There are also some machines that are getting ip addresses below 192.168.10.16 ..

  • Hi   Can you please confirm whether there are multiple DHCP server exits or not in the network? As you have also mentioned some machines are getting an IP address below 192.168.10.16 and that is not the DHCP scope set in the Sophos DHCP Server, so from those machines pick 1-2 machines and do the DHCP renewal, and capture the Wireshark on the relevant interface during this DHCP renewal process, once PCAP is captured check the MAC address to see if it is of which vendor and if any such vendor device exists in the network then confirm DHCP is enabled or not in that device!
