HA Upgrade Questions

Good afternoon,

I have a couple of question regarding an upgrade we are doing over the next couple of weeks. So we are replacing our XG 210 with 2 XGS 3100's and have some question to their setup in a Primary/Secondary HA configuration.

1) Do I simply register each new device under my account first

2) Can I use a backup from the XG210 and apply to both new 3100's

3) If #2 is Yes, when they are then setup as primary and secondary what keeps the 2 units in unison? For example if I add a new VPN user to the Primary does the secondary automatically synchronize?

       I just did that and it worked fine. Like wrote, interfaces and/or LAGs need to be double checked and eventually changed to the correct adapters.

    Remember to use the new HA device with the licensed Features as primary.

    I had only 2 issues when migrating:

    1. some DHCP Servers had wrong DNS

    2. Sophos Heartbeat was not working on one Node initially. After reboot, it was working fine on both nodes.
