Simple network design question

Hi,

I have an XGS firewall with 10gbe module and two L2 switches with spf+, one of which is poe.

What would be the best way to maximize performance and pass all vlans on all switches because they still don't support stacking? Should I create a LAG interface or should I connect the switches via a trunk uplink? Is there any better way?

I don't have a core L3 switch at the site only firewall and L2 switches.

Hi Carlo,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

If both switches are capable of LAG, you can connect both switches to Sophos Firewall and configure LAG, then use the Firewall as a router on a stick for the VLAN.

I forgot to mention that both switches are Sophos. One CS100 the other CS200. Do they support LAG?

Please refer - Link aggregation group (LAG) ports.
