How to upgrade Cyberoam CR100ing to SFOS XG home edition in 2023?

thank you for the screenshots. The issue looks like a BIOS one because you are not seeing any BIOS details on you PUTTY screen when booting?

finally I did it, I was able to install the Sophos XG image but an old version (17.5.12 MR-12)
It was just changing the boot in the bios. Well now that I have installed it I want to see the graphical interface to start with the configurations but when I enter the default IP the Sophos interface does not appear.

no, my workstation is in dhcp mode

If you are connected to port 1 you should receive an ip address, usually 172.16.16.17. Login using https://172.16.16.16:4444.

Now the problem is that I have contracted a 1GB internet service but when I test it with speedtest it shows me that it has 400mbps download and upload when without connecting my PC to the Sophos LAN it would normally be giving me 940mbps download

It has reduced 50% of the network speed that I have contracted, how do I solve that?

have you disabled all the settings in the DOS tab?

Also you might have hit th limit of the CPU, please check the diagnostic settings to see LOAD and CPU usage when trying your download test.

Extra info ; I checked the specifications of the cr100 and the maximum throughput appears to be 750mb/s in a test situation, in reality with other features in the mix what you are seeing in your current test is probably the maximum you will get with more functions enabled.

yeah, i have disable all DOS attack settings

I have done the speed test and I have also verified the CPU usage when I did the test and it seems there was no increase in CPU usage

I am still of option that the performance is a limitation of the CR100.
