Retry sending mails with status error in main spool

Hi communiy,

after a failed update of avira antivirus pattern last monday incoming mails remained with status error in mail spool:

We have fixed the pattern issue by starting the update manually, but the mails remains in mail spool -> Error.

We can download them by clicking on the subject, but we cannot retry the mail processing because the retry button is greyed out.

Is there an easy way to retry all 197 mails at once, or do we have to download them one by one.

    Hi   Please check the suggestion of step 9 from below KBA if that helps here in your scenario: (Also safer side take the current config backup before proceeding with any action of the KBA).

    thanks for your answer, but I think the mails are not in a waiting state as mentioned in the KBA. The processing of the mails were interrupted while virus scanning and then ...

    The funny thing is that "Sophos Antivirus Scanning is failed." while the update of Avira Antivirus pattern was failed. But this problem is solved. I´m looking for a way to restart the processing of mails stored in /var/spool/error/processed.
