Why is my system yet to receive the SFOS v19 MR1 update ?

Hello everyone,

I am running Sophos XG (Home) v18.5 MR4. According to this link (https://community.sophos.com/sophos-xg-firewall/b/blog/posts/firewall-firmware-release-process-and-timeline ), it should supposedly have received this update long ago. Why has it been yet to do so ?

Pls help me out. Thank you in advance.

It says compatible, does not say will update automatically. ian

Because you are on v18.5.4 and the upgrade is not automatic. You need to manually upgrade to v19 because you receive any updates to v19.0.

Because you are on v18.5.4 and the upgrade is not automatic. You need to manually upgrade to v19 because you receive any updates to v19.0.

First of all, this update is available for those systems running v18.5 MR4 as well ( https://community.sophos.com/sophos-xg-firewall/b/blog/posts/sophos-firewall-v19-mr1-re_2d00_release-build-365-is-now-available )

Secondly, the SFOS v19.0 update for my system is also nowhere to be seen.

What to do now buddy ? My system is a HP T620 PLUS with no console ports.

HP T620 Plus @ Sophos XG v19.5.3 MR3 - Build 652.

You can Download firmware from Sophos Licensing Portal: https://docs.sophos.com/nsg/sophos-firewall/19.0/Help/en-us/webhelp/onlinehelp/AdministratorHelp/BackupAndFirmware/Firmware/FirmwareDownloadFirmware/index.html

Then Move to a different firmware version: https://docs.sophos.com/nsg/sophos-firewall/19.0/Help/en-us/webhelp/onlinehelp/AdministratorHelp/BackupAndFirmware/Firmware/FirmwareMoveToDifferentVersion/index.html
