Where to find router name?

at the top of the GUI screen is where you fine the firewall name if that is what you are asking about?

I can see the model, firmware, serial and client.

Nothing regarding the name?

Good point, mine is in the DDNS registration page and the DNS entries also in the CA name, but a specific location that shows what was created at configuration time, not that i can see.

Interesting that you can have the company name in the top righthand corner, but not the firewall are. Time for a suggested improvement.

Does the particular device you're looking at have its name set to be the serial number, by any chance?

Hi JDot, Are you referring to the host name of the firewall? If yes then below is the settings where you can assign or set the hostname.

Vishal_R Thanks! I would suggest that in V19, in the Search box in the upper left -- which is a very useful new feature -- that "Hostname" be added to surface this page. When I type in "hostname" now, it points me to the Email settings page.

Also, I think part of the issue is when you initial setup the box you are asked for a name, but the default is the serial number. Now if you change this the details are not reflected in the GUI which I would expect it to be. My last config for the XG115 was the serial number default then change on the page.
