Dear all,
I just upgraded our virtual XG from SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9 to SFOS 18.0.0 GA-Build379 and noticed that the interfaces have been switched to 10 Mbps Half Duplex:
Since a reboot did not help I did the following:
1. Removed the network cards from the VM configuration (Flexible network adapters that were installed by the VMware OVA template)
2. Added new network cards with type of E1000 adapter
3. Upon next boot of the XG, speed was correctly set to 1000 Mbps - Full Duplex again (all IP settings were retained!)
Before that I tried to move the VM to another host and also noticed this warning during VMmotion:
Now after changing to E1000 this warning doesn't appear anylonger either (though I know that VMmotion is not supported officially for the XG).
Maybe this helps if someone else runs into the issue.
