can't access 172.16.16.16:4444 on XG Firewall Home Edition

I've setup everything to the point where I"m trying to access the "router" via 172.16.16.16:4444 on XG Firewall Home Edition.  No browser on Windows, Mac or linux can access it.  "Connection was reset" is the gist of most messages.  On the Linux laptop,  I can access the internet though.  Others not.

I connected and monitor and keyboard to the HP hosting the XG Firewall and was able to access and make changes to the "bios".  I configured the email, serial number and so on there, but still no access.  Reset XG bios to Factory default.  Still no access.

Modem  >  XG on an HP computer (in via built-in LAN plug,  out via PCI Express LAN Card)     >    computer

Where do I go from here?

  • Hi,

if you installed the serial number it means you have accessed the the GUI. So I do not understand what you have done since to remove access. If you login to the console can you access the network menu to set what addresses are assigned to which interfaces?
