Hi XG Community!

We've released XG Firewall 17.5 MR13. Initially, the firmware will be available by manual download from the Licensing Portal. We will gradually release the firmware via auto-update to customers.

Note: The upgrade from version 17.5 MR13 to 18.0 will follow soon.

Security Release

  • Previously released security hotfixes HF051220.1 and HF052220.1 have already been included in this release.
  • Quarantined emails can only be released from the User Portal. Refer to KBA135515 for details.
  • Other Security fixes.

Download

To manually install the upgrade, you can download the firmware from the Licensing Portal. Please refer to Sophos XG Firewall: How to upgrade the firmware.

  • Same here.  I upgraded an XG750 last night and now I can't connect to the web interface.  This is the second major update failure by SOPHOS in the last few months.  The last one crippled my SG650 running UTM.  Totally unacceptable.
