Reset password on Android 7 or newer

Hi,

I have just readed about Reset password (Lock screen) issue on Android 7.0 devices. Please share your's solutions about this issue? Thanks for your advices.

One of solution I have found to wipe device from Sophos Mobile Control admin page, but if you want to get info on device?

Please help me with the following:

1. What is the version of Sophos Mobile?

2. What is the version of OS on your Android device?

3. Is this a stand-alone device or SMC managed device?

Hi Haridoss,

1. Sophos Mobile Server version: 7.1.5 (rev 12513)

2. On my company are about 2000 devices, many of them OS Android 5.0+, second Android 6.0, and not so many but very important are OS Android 7.0 or Android 7.1.1

3. Fast all these device are fully managed and encrypted, because they are company devices.

I have read this article community.sophos.com/.../127100 information.

I want to know how other solves this issue.
