Sophos Secure E-Mail Error AS21

Hello,

i install 5 BYOD devices with the new Sophos container only feature.

4 devices run without any problem.

1 device can connect to the server (with control app). When I start the secure E-Mail app, it show me the correct configuration. But when i put in the password for the user the error AS21 appears.

It seems that the problem is only with this user. I try it on this phone with another user and it work.

Phone is an Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 with Android 7

    Hi Denis, 

    As you say that another user can use it on this phone, we can assume that the issue is not with the Device and Sophos Secure Email application. I would recommend you to check the credentials of the user who is getting the error. Please check if he is able to access his email via the browser.

    Hi,

    i found the Problem.

     

    It was an wrong configuration in the Active Directory.

     

    One checkbox was not "checked"

    "Allow inheritable permissions from parent to propagate to his object"

     

    I dont know why it was unchecked... but this solved the problem
