Apple Ios does not resolve via internal dns

Hello Guys

I am testing sophos to connect via Mobile ios but looks like it is not able to resolve internal dns, if i test via android it does work perfectly.

Also i did tested the vpn in a external wifi and connected via vpn, added the dns manually so could resolve the internal dns but yet the same issue.

I can ping the dns ip if i connect to the vpn, but not able to resolve the internal dns,

 

Did you had any similar issue ?

    Model phone tested are iphone and iphon6s,

    firewall Sophos utm9

    Basically the internal dns does not work, i tried to connect also via wifi and to set the dns manually but yet the same problem.

    Please let me know if you need any specific log
