How can i manage License

Question

I want to know about the conditions that Sophos license works. 
 
 we can check the number of licenses from the "License" button that appears when click account name at the right side. 
 And it means the number of devices that i installed. 
 
 However, when i check the summary in the dashboard page, there are the number of the "activated devices" and "Inactive devices", and the number of "activated devices" is different from total number of device. 
 i dont know the timing that the license activate or inactivate. 
 
 is the license be inactive if we dont use the devices for two weeks? 
 
 if so, how can we manage the number of licenses. 
 
 Someone please tell me for what conditions, Sophos License activate or inactivate.

 Thank you for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum. 
 Each license type or product usage is calculated independently, depending on which pieces of software are installed on the devices. Endpoint licenses are assigned per user, not per device, and server licenses are assigned per server. 
 The Devices and users: summary on the Sophos Central Dashboard do not show the license usage. The numbers that are shown there are not the actual license used. License usage is shown on the licensing page, or in the licensing panel of Hero Reports ( Logs & Reports > Reports > Endpoint & Server Protection ). 
 Regarding inactive devices, if a device has been offline for more than 30 days, then it will no longer consume a license.
