We subscribed to Intercept X on sophos central. The initial purchase authorization date was January 6, 2021. Recently, we renewed the license, as shown in the figure below.
Then, if after December 17, 2022, will the newly renewed license take effect immediately? At present, the renewal has been successful on the central platform (as shown in the red box in the figure below). If automatic renewal cannot be performed, will the license be effective? Invalid, resulting in customers can not continue to use, please answer, thank you!
Thank you for reaching the community forum.About license renewal, once you renew your license, it’ll take effect immediately. Any subscription that hasn’t been renewed at the time of renewal will result in your managed endpoint not being able to download the update to Sophos cloud, which leads to non-compliance on your devices. Still, the endpoint functionality will remain the same. However, in the worst-case scenario, you may not able to access your endpoint via Sophos central.
The current number of license authorizations for Intercept X Advanced for Server is 11, and 9 are in use, which will expire on December 17, 2022. Now we still have 10 servers to deploy, so the newly added 11 licenses (that is, 11 in 2022) May 17-December 16, 2025) Can it be used directly?
