Sophos Central can't login (US East Coast) though status says its working

Trying to login to Sophos Central and it's indicating Microsoft errors. Sophos status website talks about login errors in Australia, and claims everything's been running for 9 hours without problems. Except for Ireland, where I'm not. So the status page (https://centralstatus.sophos.com) is wrong in multiple ways. Any idea when things will actually be working again?

Looks like the link https://login.sophos.com/sophosprod.onmicrosoft.com/B2C_1A_signup_signin_with_federation/client/perftrace?tx= ... is returning a 404. I'd add that your scripts access the domain msecnd.net which is apparently tied to Microsoft as well.

  • Hello Wayne,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, I checked internally and we don't have notifications related to issues with US-EAST for login, was this only using Federate Services? or how were you trying to access? if this issue re-appears give a call to our Customer Care team so this can get investigated.

    Regards,

  • Somehow, going to `login.sophos.com` was throwing a Microsoft-related error (it was getting a 404 error on `perforce` in both Safari and Firefox). I re-navigated to the login page and bookmarked that and it's working (in Safari). So it's working now, but it feels like the kind of things I've experienced on Sophos websites where various alternative paths are available to accomplish a task, but one or more of them don't work.

Same thing with navigating to find the v19 MR1 release: navigating through the website ends up up on a page with v19 GA. Going through the old way of doing it says the resource has moved and clicking on that link leads to the same v19 GA page. Finally, maneuvering through another route got me to the v19 MR1 download.
